The Work+Faith Online Speaker Series: Andy Crouch

On July 9, author Andy Crouch joins us for the Work + Faith Online Speaker Series. In this series, WorkFaith CEO Anthony Flynn interviews distinguished professionals who exemplify living at the center of work and faith, making it a priority to reflect Christ-centered lives while empowering others to do the same. We’re excited to hear Andy examine topics from his book Strong and Weak: Embracing a Life of Love, Risk and True Flourishing. In this session, we will learn how to appropriately use “power” to redeem and edify those we serve in the workplace instead of using it exploitatively.

Andy Crouch is a partner for theology and culture at Praxis, an organization that works as a creative engine for redemptive entrepreneurship. He also serves on the governing boards of Fuller Theological Seminary and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and is an advisor to The Repentance Project, The Pelican Project, and Revoice. His work and writing have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Time, and Andy also received a shoutout in Lecrae’s 2014 single, “Non-Fiction.” His two most recent books—2017’s The Tech-Wise Family: Everyday Steps for Putting Technology in Its Proper Place and 2016’s Strong and Weak: Embracing a Life of Love, Risk and True Flourishing—build on the vision of faith, culture, and the image of God laid out in his previous books, Playing God and Culture Making. Andy lives with his family in Pennsylvania.

We look forward to seeing you virtually on July 9th at 9 AM CST as we hear from Andy. Registration is free. Once you register, you will receive an email with the link and instructions to the live Zoom interview. If you do not receive your link, please email acundiff@workfaithconnection.org.
