“Heroes Wanted” – New Online Speaker Series

Rodney Bullard, President of the Chick-fil-A Foundation, joined us on May 1 for the launch of the Work + Faith Online Speaker Series! We hope you were able to join us. We heard about Rodney’s experiences working in the White House, prioritizing service in each aspect of his career, and living out God’s perfect plan for his life. 

In this unprecedented time of crisis, we believe it is critically important to discuss the intersection of work and faith. We invite you to join us monthly as our CEO, Anthony Flynn, interviews distinguished professionals who live at the center of this intersection. This online event will allow people to hear from industry leaders on how their faith informs their professional lives.

Current & Past Positions

Rodney Bullard currently serves as President of the Chick-fil-A Foundation and VP of Corporate Social Responsibility for Chick-fil-A Corporation. Before joining the C-Suite at Chick-fil-A, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney where he received the Department of Justice Director’s Award from the United States Attorney General. Rodney also had the privilege of serving as a White House Fellow, the nation’s most prestigious public service Fellowship. There he was placed at NASA where he worked directly for the NASA Administrator. Rodney also previously served at the Pentagon as a Congressional Legislative Liaison in the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force.

Accomplishments

While his accomplishments are too many to name, some include the National Bar Association’s Trailblazer 40 Under 40 Award and Duke Law School’s Young Alumnus of the Year. Rodney also received Atlanta Magazine’s Most Influential Atlantans and Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Most Admired Atlanta CEO’s Award. Rodney serves on many public and non-profit boards including the Board of Directors for Ameris Bank, Board of Directors for University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, and the Air Force Academy’s Falcon Foundation Board.

Heroes Wanted

Rodney is a best-selling author of Heroes Wanted: Why the World Needs You to Live Your Heart Out. He received a B.S. in Law from the United States Air Force Academy, a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, and an M.B.A from University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Additionally, he matriculated through the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University. Rodney’s greatest claim to fame is being the husband of Silvette and the father of Brendan.
