The Work+Faith Online Speaker Series: Chris Winton

Chris Winton joins us October 8 for the Work + Faith Online Speaker Series. A FedEx Legacy

Chris Winton currently serves as the senior vice president of human resources for FedEx Ground. As a senior human resources executive, Chris provides strategic direction to recruit, develop, and retain a highly talented and diverse workforce. Chris began his career at FedEx more than 20 years ago as an IT Intern and progressed to director of IT operations before transitioning to human resources. He assumed his current role in 2020.

His energetic approach has brought Chris to the forefront of media attention. He has worked with two White House administrations on creating employment pathways for underserved communities. Christ has also appeared on C-SPAN to discuss scaling such programs. He was also recently recognized by the Memphis Business Journal as one of the city’s “Top 40 Leaders Under 40” for his work in workforce development.

Cream of the Crop

Chris was honored in HRO Today with the Cream of the Crop award for his work with companies such as Google to leverage AI and machine-learning to help job seekers find jobs specifically tailored to their needs.

Chris recently became a published author of the book C-4 Leadership: Ignite Your Career, Shatter Expectations and Take Charge of Life! He and his wife Coleshia have two children, Jordyn and Jaden.
