Partnership Specialist
Reports To: Chief Program Officer
Position Summary
This position reports directly to WorkFaith's Chief Program Officer. In addition, the Partnership Specialist will develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified clients or partners to participate in the on-demand and in-person training curriculum.
We seek a dynamic individual with a proven track record in outside sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in sales, demonstrating exceptional proficiency in quickly navigating complex sales processes. A strong emphasis is placed on networking and prospecting skills and cultivating and maintaining valuable client relationships. The successful candidate will bring invaluable insights and expertise to drive sales growth and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
The Partnership Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Partnership program:
· Secure partnerships to enroll clients into WorkFaith programs and services.
· Expand WorkFaith's partnerships with churches, community-based nonprofits, and related organizations.
· Experience building and maintaining relationships with all partners.
· Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
A. QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: A college or university degree in business administration, a related field, or equivalent work-related roles experience is desirable.
· Experience: A strong background in sales is highly preferred, offering valuable insights and expertise in navigating the sales process effectively—networking and prospecting skills.
· Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory, as it can enhance communication in certain contexts.
B. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Primary Responsibilities
· Secure partnerships to enroll clients in WorkFaith programs, services, and other beneficial training and coaching solutions.
· Expand WorkFaith's partnerships with churches, community-based nonprofits, and related organizations to participate in WorkFaith service offerings.
· Execute all phases of the recruitment and program outreach strategy
2. Secondary Responsibilities
· Manage community partner relationships to increase the total served via training and coaching.
· Ensure that each community partnership has a clearly defined student pipeline that mutually benefits both parties.
· Identify and attend recruitment events, including but not limited to recruitment fairs, exhibitions, seminars, school visits, community-organized events, and presentations at community partners' locations.
· Participate in special projects as assigned and communicate project status and results to leadership.
· Participate in data collection efforts for reports, metrics, and deliverables.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
3. Financial Awareness and Stewardship
· Fosters an understanding of philanthropy within the organization.
· Consistently design and provide high-quality client success stories to support Development's fundraising strategies as directed by leadership.
4. Competencies
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
· Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for various roles.
· Proactive and independent with the ability to take the initiative.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
· Ability to work in a virtual team environment
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-oriented environment
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
· Exhibits proficiency in a range of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, allowing for efficient document creation, data analysis, and communication.
· Information Systems Knowledge: Possesses an intermediate level of experience with Information Systems, which can be a valuable asset in managing and leveraging technology for business needs.
6. Other Requirements
· The position requires the applicant to have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a clear driving record for the last three years.
