A volunteer at WorkFaith, Lou Bah, originally from the Ivory Coast, is a graduate of Houston Community College with an Associate Degree in Business. She is currently pursuing an Accounting Degree at the University of Houston-Downtown. In her free time, she likes listening to music, watching movies, and going on road trips. Her favorite stop thus far is San Antonio, Texas.
When Lou found out about WorkFaith Connection on the Volunteer Match and saw “the amazing work” our organization has been doing in the community for over 15 years, she “immediately knew this was a place for my service.” Since then, Lou says it has been a blessing being a volunteer at WorkFaith: “The staff is wonderful, and everyone here has a gift to make every day a special day!”
What a WorkFaith staff member had to say about Lou:
“Lou has an inviting demeanor and a warm smile. She is willing to take on any assignments and complete them successfully. Lou is dependable and reliable. She takes the initiative in her role. Lou is a wonderful individual to have as a volunteer. She is the perfect example of what WorkFaith is looking for in volunteers. She possesses a great attitude, a big smile, and a cheerful personality no matter what job is put in front of her. Whether shredding papers, stuffing envelopes or answering interested clients’ questions, Lou always put smiles on the faces of those around her.”
