WorkFaith Virtual Graduations are here, and we are so excited! As many of you know, Graduation is a special celebration for our organization, and we have missed it greatly in this season of the pandemic. Now, through our Virtual Graduations, we can celebrate our graduates together (virtually) once again.
Please join us in celebrating students who successfully completed the WorkFaith Virtual Workforce Development Trainings on Friday, October 16th at 1 p.m. CST. You will hear testimonials from recent students, like Albert’s below. Come cheer them on as they launch into job search!
ALBERT: MOVING FORWARD
Albert came to WorkFaith 60 days after his release from prison, where he served 27 years, five months and one day. He walked out of prison a transformed man. Albert was committed to living his life differently.
WorkFaith coaches equipped Albert with the tools he needed to be successful. He was committed to doing things the right way and glorifying God in the process. Because of the relationship between WorkFaith and one of its Core Employers, Albert’s first job interview, first resume and first application ever submitted led to a full-time “dream” job in auto sales. Albert reported to work exactly 90 days after walking out of prison.
Albert’s job recently awarded him salesman of the month. He is earning a livable wage plus commission and his coworkers are mentoring him professionally and spiritually. Because of you and people like you, Albert continues to move forward in the brand new life God has for him.
